Mutual Admiration over a Designer Purse and Rolex Watches!

Mutual Admiration over a Designer Purse and Rolex Watches!

On the plane back from Switzerland, I had a great time becoming acquainted with the person next to me who, like me, as it turned out, had just acquired something he was excited about. He had bought two Rolex watches and I had bought a beautiful designer purse. It was comical because at a certain point during the flight, I picked up my new purse to admire it and enjoy the fact that I had just bought it. Around the same time, I noticed him take a few looks at his watch that were longer than what it would take to check the time. I asked him if I could see his watch and he gave a charming smile, like he had been caught doing something slightly embarrassing. It was a Rolex and-as I told him-it was really beautiful. I then shared with him how I had just been admiring my purse for the same reason that I had just acquired it. He told me he also got a similar Rolex for his father, who had worked hard to send him to good schools and ultimately medical school. Now that he was able to, he wanted to give his father a symbol of appreciation. It was a lovely conversation, and we even exchanged contact information!

My Purse Goes Great with My New Cuff Bracelet

My Purse Goes Great with My New Cuff Bracelet

I love a great purse that makes an attractive fashion statement all on its own. I feel the same way about a piece of jewelry. Recently, I was given a wonderful cuff bracelet, which I think my boyfriend got on goldsea.com. Turns out it goes great with the hardware on my favorite purse. I wore this delightful combo recently with an all black outfit, with sleek long sleeves. The cuff bracelet really stood out beautifully, and the hardware on my purse made a striking complement to it. I love how it feels when you're really happy with an outfit. I certainly spend my fair share of time in clothes to kick around the house in, so when it's time to get myself pulled together, I make sure to really appreciate it. I'm realizing more and more how wonderful it is to focus more on the present moment, take in what's happening and what I'm doing, rather than rush through everything to meet what can feel like continual deadlines for this and for that. So whether I'm putting on some make up, choosing an outfit, and selecting a piece of jewelry to wear, or sitting down for a cup of coffee, I make it a point to savor the moment and appreciate what I have.
